How Do I get Good Credit? - private label credit cards

I have a personal loan from Sam's Club gas (but only until 12 August, because then I'll cancel my job there). Today I received a credit card, American Eagle, I bought a shirt from there, and almost never shop there, with the exception of gifts. Is it wrong that I do not use the card very often? (What do you expect from me?) Do you have a private label credit assistance in obtaining a good credit rating at all?
